Today, we're proud to share a new platform for play. The Zynga Platform is designed with two simple goals: more access to the best social games and more people to play with. In a few days we're turning on a beta of Zynga.com which will feature our most popular games: Words with Friends, CastleVille, Zynga Poker, Hidden Chronicles and CityVille. Soon after, we will be adding great games from other developers too.Every day, we think about the challenges in enabling play. How can we surface more friends that want to help you build your bridge in CityVille? How do we help you find your perfect match in Words With Friends?

Zynga.com is designed to make it easier for you to play with friends. We’re excited to offer new features like the live Social Stream which will enable you to play in real time with your friends and find new ones. Player profiles will let you check your friends’ helpfulness score to see who’s most likely to help you back. And you’ll be able to chat and play live with your friends and a community of players interested in the same games as you.

At Zynga, our first value is to build games our friends and family love to play. And when we launch a new product or game, for us it’s like Christmas day with the chance to surprise and delight millions of you.

We've invested heavily to build a network and infrastructure tuned for delivering social gaming at scale. We’ve learned a lot about developing, launching, scaling and supporting the most socially engaging play experiences and we're excited today to begin to apply this to a broader set of games. We’re building a dedicated environment for our players to interact with each other around our games and we’re excited to make that network available to our fellow developers so our players can enjoy their awesome games too.

Today, we're proud to announce the first round of our Zynga Platform partners: MobScience, Row Sham Bow and Sava.

These developers will be able to leverage our zCloud infrastructure for scalability and availability and our analytics to measure and drive their social engagement with metrics such as ASN (Active Social Network) which measures how many friends our players interact with.

It's our hope that our Platform partners, and eventually anyone in the industry, can extend the reach of their games and connect to even more players on Zynga.com. Later this year we'll make our platform available for all social game developers through a Zynga API.

In 2007 Facebook changed the game with their courageous move to open their platform to us all. We're proud to be a part of Facebook's ecosystem and we built Zynga.com to complement their pervasive social graph. Zynga.com will be one of the first sites completely integrated with Facebook which has become the world’s social dial-tone.

We want to thank and acknowledge the amazing work by so many at Zynga. Almost every team in the company from our game teams to multiple partner groups to the Zynga.com team has had a hand in bringing our platform to market.

We’ve focused for the past four and a half years on connecting the world through games. Today, millions of people play together. Yet we know there's so much more to do before we enable everyone to put play in their day.
